Jessica Chastain took Gucci’s newest collection from the runway to the red carpet for this year’s CNMI Sustainable Fashion Awards in Milan on Sunday.
Chastain arrived to the Awards alongside actor Jeremy Strong. For the occasion, the “Doll’s House” star slipped on a pair of Gucci’s “Angel” platform heels — a $1,100 style with smooth black leather uppers, complete with crossed toe straps and buckled ankle straps.
The open-toed set gained a sharp height boost from its thick quilted platform soles, as well as their thin, leather-covered heels — which totaled 5.3 inches in height. Chastain’s sky-high heels were worn beneath a pair of sharp pleated black trousers. However, they also earned a glamorous twist from the rest of her attire: a white sleeveless top with tiered silver, pink and green crystal-coated trim, as well as a glossy maroon leather iteration of the brand’s mini Jackie handbag.
Both hailed from new Gucci creative director Sabato de Sarno’s spring 2024 collection, which debuted in Milan Fashion Week on Friday.
